I do SEO because SEO works.
I've done a lot of selling in my career. (You call it "selling" instead of "marketing" when you have to get results.) Print, video, social, email -- I've used them all for different products and services. And I can say SEO is the most effective way for building your business 24/7:
hair and nail products • investment newsletters • foldable canoes • classic film merch • pillows and blankets • auto parts • dog doors • caterers • psychology clinics • landscapers • roofers • plastics companies • magicians • doctors and surgeons • e-learning • in-person tutoring companies • science tools for students • and more
SEO. That's it.
I do SEO. I don't sell ads. I don't offer social media services. I don't want to loop you into a whole package of costly services. What you see is all you get.
Other SEOs burn time "onboarding." They want to review every single aspect of your site. They want to "deep dive" into "granular" data for different "signals."
Once you and I talk about the needs of your business, I get started right away.
I don't do backlinks.
Backlinks are hyperlinks from other sites to yours. Other SEOs say Google values backlinks above everything else, backlinks give your site "domain authority," and you should spend a lot of time (and fees) building backlinks.
Google values the effort you put into your own site to help users searching for what you offer. Text is how Google measures your site against your competitors. Google sees your site's optimized text as more likely to satisfy a user's search.
(What is the real dollar value of a backlink from some rinky-dink podcast or blog, anyway?)
My reports are short, simple, written in plain language.
Yes, there are lots of “digital signals.” These are the ones that matter:
Are rankings higher?
Rankings influence what sites a Google user sees in search results.
Are those search results getting more clicks?
When that Google user sees your site in their search results and clicks it, that's a site visitor.
Is bounce rate better for those visitors?
The right visitors stay on the site. They don't "bounce" and exit after a few seconds.
How much time are visitors spending on the site? How many pages do they visit?
The right visitors spend time on the site and/or visit more than one page. That tells Google that your site is helping its users, so Google sends you more visitors.
Is the site actually converting these busy visitors?
If the site's not getting sales, calls, contact forms, or other conversions after establishing these criteria, other factors may be at play. A site can be outdated in design and not inspire visitors' confidence. A site can be newly designed but too slow. The benefit to the visitor may be unclear: "Here's what you need, and here's why we're your best choice to get it."
Let’s get started.
All I need’s your URL and I’ll give you a FREE initial SEO review of your site and what I'd recommend to increase your business.
I'll contrast your site against similar sites in my portfolio to win your consideration. You don't want to see my résumé -- you want to know what I can do for *your* site, right?
